Hi,

I'm very sorry for teh delay in replying, other issues take taken my fourth dimension.

We only take a single mailbox database at this fourth dimension, soe each user is in that mailbox db.

Our current infrastructure is 2 x HT, CA, MB combined servers fix equally DAG with Hardware load balancer taking intendance of CAS balancing.    Could this be the cause of this mistake?   The mailbox itself is available if I log into information technology only if I then try to access it from anoth mailbox it gets that error.

Just wondering, if you move that user to the same database as the current logon user, exercise you still come across that problem? The mistake seems to suggest that at that place is a connectivity problem to the mailbox server from that CAS for whatever reason.

Thank you for the reply Adam.   I'thousand not certain where to turn on this,  each mailbox has been created via ECP by the org admin user.  One gets permission denied the other the error.

Microsoft support essentially told be to get lost maxim that Hosted Exchange is not supported quoting

This is actually a software development question that I tin can't answer. Exchange must recall another condition exists, and so it spits back the different error. You would need to decide what is different nearly the mailboxes. It may have something to practice with initialization. Perchance the mailboxes that get the offset error take never been logged into, and that is why they get the different error. I'g not really sure.

Past default, Org Admins are not going to take this permission. You could proactively give it to them by running a control similar to above. Something similar:

Get-Mailbox | foreach {add-mailboxpermission $_.Identity -User "domain\user" -AccessRights FullAccess}

Information technology works fine when I run that,    my trouble is more the mistake message that comes up.    Information technology'due south very confusing for customers compared to to an access denied message.   Every bit, is it not possible to Organization admins to allow this?

I've not granted any permission for this.   What'south disruptive me is the message.    I go permissions denied for some mailboxes,  merely for others the unavailable bulletin.

I'g running with the /hosting switch and I've not managed to observe a way of enabling this other than manually.

When attempting to open another users mailbox via owa,  for some accounts the user Gets a message, Yous practice non have permission to admission this mailbox which is fine,  but for others in the same organisation we come across the following fault

* Your mailbox appears to be unavailable. Try to access it again in 10 seconds. If you encounter this fault once more, contact your helpdesk.

The mailbox itself is available, equally the user can log in with it's credentials.  I'm confused on this because no errors are logged every bit far as I can encounter.

Microsoft support have essentially told me to become away as it's "non supported"

You would need to make up one's mind what is different virtually the mailboxes. Information technology may take something to do with initialization.
